Presentation of the Carlos Gomes Medal

Claudio Bensal was honored at the solemn commemoration of the 225 years of the city of Campinas, being presented the Carlos Gomes medal.

Pink Jequitibá Violin Delivery

The luthier was honored at the delivery of the Jequitibá Rosa violin at the Centro de Convivência de Campinas.

Viola de Claudio is part of the Carlos Gomes Museum collection. Luthier paid homage to the conductor with a viola by him, Modelo D'Amore (Iizuka) with the initials of Antônio Carlos Gomes, who was the most important Brazilian opera composer. Due to his tribute to the conductor, the luthier was also honored by the Center for Science and Arts at the delivery ceremony. The viola Carlos Gomes was perpetuated in the museum's collection.

Claudio Bensal supports the CCLA Centro de Ciencias Letras e Artes by restoring the Harp, a part of the Carlos Gomes Museum collection.

Making and Repair of Violins, Violas, Cellos and Bows His instruments and repairs are used by quartets such as:

Darcos and Raga and, in large orchestras, among them:

- OSPA – Porto Alegre Symphony Orchestra,

- OSB/RJ – Brazilian Symphony Orchestra of Rio de Janeiro,

- OSESP, Campinas Symphony Orchestra, Unicamp Symphony Orchestra,

- Manaus Symphonic Orchestra, OFG (Goiânia) among others in the country;

- Qatar(Asia), United States, Denmark, Germany, France and other European countries.

Claudio had as his teacher the late Luthier João Rossi and instructions with the renowned Luthier Luiz Bellini, from New York, and also with international acoustic engineers.

He participated in the conference in Cremona, Italy, on Gasparo da Salò with great names from Lutheria Bresciana, uses the Italian construction methodology such as Stradivari, Guarneri, Gasparo de Salò and Domênico Montagnana.
